Fenia & Panos

If you ask someone what is Greece, then the first thing he will bring in mind is endless blue, sun, small stonebuilt houses and crystal turquoise waters. Koufonisia island, part of small Cyclades, includes all of these and in combination with the sandy beaches make this island to seem like a small greek paradise.

Fenia and Panos realised their destination wedding in this magical island, with a three day celebration filled with light, love and laughter.

For the design, we took all the inspiration from this unique location. Watercolor elements in shades of blue and turquoise, combined with sketch designs of the island created the perfect backdrop for the day. Florals in blue, white and yellow hues adorned the little chapel, where the ceremony took place, while the reception dinner kept the minimalism and simplicity of the place, maintaining basic elements of a greek ‘taverna’ by the sea with an upgraded art de la table in blue and yellow hues to remind a seabed.

The day started with early celebrations during the preparations of the couple, while for the ceremony, guests got transferred by boats to the little chapel at Kato Koufonisi under the sound of folk greek islands music which consisted a unique experience for everyone attended. The ceremony took place outside of the little chapel, in front of a great seaview and under a gentle summer sea breeze!

During the sunset, a memorable reception followed by the sea! The traditional greek seafood was absolutely delicious and the party under a sky filled with stars was unforgettable!
