Embarked on Costa Navarino, one of the finest and most luxury resorts of Greece, located in Messinia, with the wedding of Katerina and Tilemachos.
A resort like this, with a remarkable architecture that combines both greek tradiotion, having incorporated many elements of greek cultural heritage, together with modernism, could not leave unaffected the base of our design.
Our aim for the design of this wedding, was to maintain a Mediterranean line, as well as borrowing significant characteristics of greek anciety, but also to add a contemporary touch of design to the whole set up, inspired by the resort’s sustainability. The use of ecofriendly materials like wood, rattan, clay and organic cotton was the base of the design process, which was enhanced by artisanal goods as an ode to human craftmanship since ancienty.
A reflection of Romanos building facade, consisted the inspiration for the dinner set up, as we wanted to achieve a luxury, bold and clear set up.
Moreover, the famous ceiling canopy of ” Barbouni” restaurant was the reason to come up with the idea of using ripples and movement generally in the decoration. Starting from the handcrafted lightings from cotton, having a slight ripple from the wind, to the dinner selection tableware and the wedding cake, every element, revealed a connection to the resort’s architecture and our passion for designing the specific concept, unwraped through a row of little art pieces.
