Katie and Hugh decided to tie the knot with a destination wedding celebration in Greece! They travelled all way, together with their families and friends from UK to the picturesque mountainous village of Tsagkarada at Pelion.
Their orthodox ceremony took place in a century-old church in the center of the village’s square, while the wedding reception dinner had been hosted at Tilia resort, built in the slopes of Mouresi, in an outdoor area, near the pool with a mesmerising seaview.
The decorative part of the wedding was based on an organic concept with neutral hues, white and pastel pink, combined with greenery and dried flowers in the set. Dinner area was decorated with round tables together with monastery wooden tables with beige table clothes and xback wooden chairs while string lights over them, created a mesmerising atmosphere for the guests. As far as the details are concerned, it is worth to refer the handmade soaps with virgin olive oil for the guests as personal gifts, the personal menu cards with escord cards in every seat the custom made board with the day’s programmeas well as the delicious treats for the guests that were all based on greek tradition, from the cool homemade lemonade served out of the church, to the canapes made by greek traditional products.
Guests experienced a great party till down and Katie and Hugh totally enjoyed every single moment of their unique wedding day!
